The Dangerous Pockets Project came about after I read a poem by Sharon Owens called 'Dangerous Coats'
I invited local people to make a pocket and send it to me - the idea being I would thread them onto 10' long cords and exhitit them. The project went from local to global very quickly - with people from every continent sending me pockets. When it got to 400 I had to stop it as the installation have become huge: 25 lengths of 10' cords full of pockets of all shapes and sizes!
