'One World - Many Papers' - international travelling exhibition
A collaboration of 42 artists from 39 different countries around the world, each have created a mixed media artwork composing of unique sheets of handmade paper made by the artists from local plant fibre to represent their own country.
The project was led by Jane Ingram Allen, an American, international artist now living in Taiwan. Jane approached Paula MacGregor and asked her to represent England in this huge international collaboration, after having worked together on a collaborative piece called 'Made in Colchester' in 2008 (an extension of the work Jane had recently finished called 'Made in Tiawan').
These photographs were taken when it was shown at the only exhibition in the United Kingdom - at The Minories in Colchester.
